Yorkshire Puddings are only for Roast Beef dinners, I heard. This to me is ridiculous, Yorkshire Puddings belong on every dinner plate.
Always make sure the oil is smoking hot and you don’t open the oven whilst cooking Yorkshire Puddings.
Makes 12 small or 8 large.
INGREDIENTS
140g plain flour
4 eggs
200ml milk
Salt & Pepper
Oil for cooking
METHOD
Preheat oven to 210c (fan)
Add a small amount of oil into muffin tin. Pop in the oven to heat.
In a bowl mix flour and eggs. Gradually add milk and beat until smooth (no lumps). Season with salt and pepper.
Pour batter into the hot muffin tin. Bake for 20-25mins. DO NOT OPEN THE OVEN IN THIS TIME.
Serve immediately or cool and freeze for up to 1month.
