Wraps 10min lunch

Wraps – The ultimate 10min lunch ingredient

Wraps are a staple store cupboard ingredient. Need a quick lunch, use a wrap. Fancy something sweet, use a wrap. Need to beef up dinner, use a wrap. I’ve put together my go-to 10min (sometimes less) wrap recipes. Use them for breakfast, lunch or dinner, it doesn’t matter.

Savoury Wraps

Cheesy Bean Quesadillas

INGREDIENTS:

Baked Beans, Cheese, Tortilla Wraps

METHOD:

Heat some baked beans in a pan or microwave. Grate some cheese on one half of a wrap. Top with the beans, fold over and fry on each side for a few mins. Careful the beans can be very hot, so allow to cool before serving.

Black Bean Quesadillas

INGREDIENTS:

Black Beans – Drained, Cheese, Tortilla Wraps

METHOD:

Heat some black beans in a pan or microwave. Grate some cheese on one half of a wrap. Top with the beans, fold over and fry on each side for a few mins. Careful the beans can be very hot, so allow to cool before serving.

Ham & Cheese Roll Ups

INGREDIENTS:

Grated cheese, Ham, Tortilla Wraps

METHOD:

Sprinkle some grated cheese all over a wrap, place some ham on top. Roll tightly into a tube. Gently fry, rolling over to get all of it browned. The melted cheese should seal it, so it doesn’t open when eating.

Carrot & Hummus Wraps

INGREDIENTS:

Grated Carrot, Hummus, Tortilla Wraps

METHOD:

Microwave a wrap for a few seconds (makes it easier to roll). Spread with some hummus and sprinkle over grated carrot. Roll to serve, closing each end first.

Taco Bean Enchiladas

INGREDIENTS:

Tin of Taco Beans (check salt content before buying), Grated Cheese, Tortilla Wraps

METHOD:

Preheat grill. Heat beans in a pan or microwave. In a oven proof dish add a wrap, spoon in some beans & roll into a lose tube. Save some extra beans, but do this until dish is full of rolled up wraps and beans. Spoon over some of the extra beans and sprinkle with grated cheese. Place under the grill until cheese is melted. Serve with salad or veggies and add jalapenos if you want!

Breakfast Burrito

INGREDIENTS:

Tortilla Wraps

Pretty much anything goes with a breakfast burrito – also, doesn’t have to be for breakfast. Scrambled eggs are a good base, then add everything and anything.

Personal favourites include, sausages, sautéed green peppers & mushrooms, layered in a wrap, sprinkled with grated cheese and rolled into a burrito.

Sweet Wraps

Banana & Peanut Butter/Nutella Quesadillas

INGREDIENTS:

Banana, Nutella or Peanut Butter, Tortilla Wraps

METHOD:

Spread nutella or peanut butter on a wrap. Thinly slice a banana and place on one side of a wrap. Fold over and fry for a few mins each side.

Apple & Cinnamon

INGREDIENTS:

Apple, Cinnamon, Brown Sugar (optional), Tortilla Wraps

METHOD:

Peel and thinly slice an apple. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on a wrap. Place some apple slices on one side, fold over and fry for a few minutes each side.
